Board of Directors

Trillian Trust is governed by a Board of Directors. The current members are:

John Harpin

Director and Chairperson

John is a Co-Founding member of Trillian Trust. He has had a number of varied roles, from being a Deckhand on a fishing charter, to working as a Product and Process Development Technologist. Throughout his career, John has gained a wealth of experience in Quality Management and Research and Development. He has also had strong involvement in departmental budgeting, production planning, compliance (local and exports), and regulatory auditing. John is currently self-employed running a Property Maintenance business.

Stanley Malcolm

Director and Secretary

Stan has over 30 years of experience as a financial services executive, having held management roles with multiple large companies. He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, Institute of Financial Professionals NZ, and Australasian Investor Relations Association. Stan is currently Director and Head of Strategy/Business Development for Link Market Services Limited, of which he is also a founding executive.  Stan has also been a Trustee of Trillian Trust Inc for 19 years.

Dean Agnew

Director and Chief Executive Officer

Dean is a Co-Founding member of Trillian Trust and has extensive experience in governance and financial management in both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. Dean is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and has sat on a number of Boards and Companies. He lives in Auckland with his wife Sarah, son Jack, and dog Ned. In addition to his involvement with Trillian Trust, Dean is currently on the Pet Refuge New Zealand Board.

Kevin McDonald

Director

Kevin has comprehensive experience in litigation, property, trusts and related legal matters. He is a solicitor and principal at a law firm in Auckland, a position he has held now for over 30 years. Kevin is a keen sportsman and acts as an honorary solicitor to various sport entities, and as a longstanding trustee of various trusts. He enjoys being part of Trillian Trust which provides significant funding to charitable and sporting organisations.  


Brett Kilburn

Director

Brett has spent the last 38 years building teams and developing several companies from start-ups through to industry leaders. With many years of extensive dedication to small and large organisations alike, he prides himself on his involvement in giving back to New Zealand communities through Trillian Trust. Brett lives in Pukekohe with his wife Joyce and a menagerie of pets.
